Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of vehicle body repair, including dent removal, frame straightening, panel replacement, and refinishing, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Assess vehicle damage and develop effective repair plans, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and equipment to complete high-quality repairs, embracing continuous improvement by staying updated on the latest techniques.
- Work collaboratively with estimators and service advisors to ensure accurate repair estimates and timely service, showing respect for people in all interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines to ensure the highest quality repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest repair techniques, tools, and industry advancements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an automotive body shop technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in bodywork, dent repair, and refinishing techniques.
- Familiarity with collision repair tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand repair estimates and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Passionate drive for excellence and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- I-CAR or ASE certification is a plus but not required.
