At Cassill Motors, we’re more than just a dealership—we’re a community that loves cars. That passion was on full display Monday night during the first of our two October Car Care Classes. Held at our dealership in Cedar Rapids, IA, this free event brought together a fantastic group of eager learners, each ready to improve their car maintenance knowledge.
Leading the session was none other than Jay Cassill, our very own “Car Geek.” With many years in the car business, Jay’s enthusiasm and deep knowledge shone through as he guided attendees through the essentials of car care. He answered countless questions from the participants, taking the time to explain everything from routine maintenance tips to how to spot issues early. The engagement was amazing, and everyone left with valuable insights they could apply to their own vehicles.
For our second class, Jon Leydens, another expert from our team, lead a more hands-on experience. While Jay focused on answering questions and covering the basics, Jon’s class had a more “learn-by-doing” approach. Participants got down on the ground to change tires, they learned how to check key components, and even perform basic maintenance tasks themselves.
Jon loves teaching, and his interactive style promises to made this class an exciting, practical learning experience for everyone involved.
